SNS Handle Confidentiality Policy
1. Why We Collect SNS Handles
Castera, operated by INTELLIEFFECT, uses creator SNS handles (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other account URLs) for internal review. The optional Instagram connection confirms account access and publishes official post links only with the member’s explicit consent. It is not real-name, know-your-customer (KYC), or content-rights verification. This is a draft v1 document pending legal review.
2. No Sharing with Advertisers
Only official post links explicitly selected and approved for publication in the Instagram connection screen are made public. These links can reveal the Instagram account. This explicit publication is an exception to restrictions on exchanging contact details before a contract; protection of unselected handles, accounts and existing private information is unchanged.
3. Internal Access Controls
Access to SNS handle data is restricted to authorised Castera operations personnel. Access logs are maintained for security auditing. Unauthorised internal access will result in appropriate disciplinary action.
4. Retention and Deletion
SNS handles are deleted within 30 days of account termination. Where legally required or necessary for dispute resolution, data may be retained for the applicable period before deletion. The connection-data deletion rules above apply to optional Instagram connection data; the general 30-day SNS-handle retention period after withdrawal does not extend token retention.
